Solomon led Wheat State (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Kiowa County. Colton Shirack threw for 74 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 76 yards in the win.
Peabody-Burns's dynamic duo of Hunter Pickens and Tommy Morris proved tough for Rock Hills to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pickens threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns and Morris had 123 yards receiving. Braxton Kyle helped Peabody-Burns' passing attack out by catching nine balls for 74 yards.
Jayden Miller made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Warriors fell to the Grizzlies. The 6-foot-3 defensive end grabbed one sack.
Goessel's Trey Schmidt and Nic Buller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Schmidt has thrown for 1757 yards this season, while Buller, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 42 catches for 662 yards. The Gorillas' Shirack leads the league in rushing yards with 1200.
In 122 carries Ethan Wright has accumulated 949 yard this year.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of Peabody-Burns' Pickens. He connected with Morris on a 55-yard pass as David Pickens' team fell to Rock Hills.
