The Bozeman Bucks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They pulled ahead with a 25-24 photo finish over Chipley. For Bozeman, this counts as revenge for the 42-20 defeat Chipley walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Bozeman was led to victory by Chance Jenkins and Peyton Gay. Jenkins rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, while Gay rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Bozeman's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Chipley, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
Bozeman will head out on the road to face off against Holmes County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Holmes County's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Chipley, they will stay at home for another week and welcome Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
