The Pahrump Valley Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Mohave Accelerated Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Pahrump Valley sitting on eight straight victories and Mohave Accelerated on 11.
Pahrump Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season. They really took it to Virgin Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-17 win at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-8.
Avery Moore continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Paris Coleman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mohave Accelerated scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took down St. John Paul II Catholic 74-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Pahrump Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Mohave Accelerated, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Everything came up roses for Pahrump Valley against Mohave Accelerated in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 as the team secured a 58-8 win. With Pahrump Valley ahead 38-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.
