Shyrique Parker posted yet another contest with eight or more rebounds on Tuesday. She was dialed in and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. She played a big game the last time she faced Liberty, so the team probably should've seen her coming. That makes it three consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least a third of Blacksburg's points.
Parker and Blacksburg will take on Landrum at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parker will face off against Savannah Brown, Landrum's star point guard. Will Parker turn in another gem to overcome Blacksburg? We'll have our answer very soon.
