Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LaSalle-Peru). They blew past the Prairie Central Hawks 65-27 on Tuesday. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season.

Prairie Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kori Buscher, who posted four points and three steals.

With the victory, LaSalle-Peru broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7. As for Prairie Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

LaSalle-Peru wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-33 defeat against Illinois Valley Central on the 21st. Prairie Central has also already played their next game, a 65-29 loss against Metamora on the 20th.
