Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.0 points per game. As for McComb, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
Things could have been worse for Hardin Northern, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-30 loss to McComb in their previous matchup back in January of 2023.
