Ahoskie Christian can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by Pamlico Christian Academy at home to the tune of 60-24. Given Ahoskie Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Pamlico Christian Academy is ranked 403rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Morgan Wadsworth, who scored 23 points along with six steals and three blocks. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ahoskie Christian's points. Lacey Berryman was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Greenville Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. The match between Greenville Christian Academy and Eastern Christian HomeSchool wasn't particularly close, with Greenville Christian Academy falling 46-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greenville Christian Academy has scored all season.
Ahoskie Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Greenville Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Ahoskie Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Greenville Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 69-64 victory.
