Basketball Recap: Connally's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Connally can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Belton Tigers 54-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cadets have posted since November 9th.

Belton's loss came despite strong showings from Avelle Bonfoh and Isabella Warner. Bonfoh posted 11 points, while Warner had 12 points. That was a full 37.5% of Belton's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Connally's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-10. As for Belton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
