The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat University 57-26 at home. This was a revenge game for Trinity Christian Academy, as the team was forced to settle for a 33-31 defeat when these two played last Thursday.
Trinity Christian Academy was led to victory by Kaylin Spor and Haylee Morelli. Spor scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Morelli scored 30 points along with six assists and four steals. Desire Jackson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Trinity Christian Academy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13. As for University, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Trinity Christian Academy will square off against the Lions at TBD on Wednesday. As for University, they will head out on the road to square off against the Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. West Port will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
