The Liberty Lightning won the last time they faced the Iowa City Little Hawks, and things went their way on Friday too. Liberty walked away with a 57-48 win over Iowa City. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Liberty.
Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cooper Webb, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Kampman, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Liberty now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Iowa City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
