On Friday, The Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines faced the Pembroke Dragons in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bolivar-Richburg was outmatched by Pembroke on the road and fell 70-30. Bolivar-Richburg's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Tyson Totten, who rushed for 393 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per carry. Totten has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last ten times he's played. Caleb Felski also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Bolivar-Richburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Pembroke, their win was their 15th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-0.
Bolivar-Richburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pembroke will be playing at home against Frewsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
