After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Battlefield, Osbourn Park was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Unity Reed Lions. Considering the Yellowjackets have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chase Allen made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

In other batting news, Osbourn Park got a big performance out of Daniel Breazeal, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Torrance Thompson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Osbourn Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are 5-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Osbourn Park pushed their record up to 8-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Unity Reed, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
