The United Longhorns will challenge the Judson Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. United knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Judson likes a good challenge.
Last Thursday, United strolled past Alexander with points to spare, taking the game 38-20. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 577th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jorge Luna
| 11/06/25 vs Alexander | 4 |
| 10/31/25 @ Laredo LBJ | 3 |
| 10/25/25 vs Eagle Pass | 7 |
| 10/17/25 @ Medina Valley | 3 |
| 10/11/25 vs Del Rio | 3 |
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead United to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jorge Luna, who threw for 272 yards and four TDs. Luna is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last five games he's played. United's leading receiver Colt Lozano was Luna's top target yet again, picking up 137 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
United didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Alexander to a completion percentage of just 36%. The team can thank Kayden Serna for the heroic effort on defense: he. United wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 54.1%.
Special teams played a big role in the game for United, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Ethan Estrada, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after only ten points in their last game, Judson made sure to put some points up on the board against Clemens on Friday. The Rockets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 win over the Buffaloes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted since October 24, 2024.
A big part of Judson's win came down to the chemistry between Dominique Davis Jr and his top target Davis AK. Davis Jr threw for 203 yards and two TDs while completing 80% of his passes while AK gained 84 total yards and two touchdowns.
United's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points over those games. As for Judson, their record now sits at 4-6.
United was taken down by Judson 51-21 in their previous matchup back in November of 2019. Will the Longhorns have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other football content.
