Powell barely beat Oak Ridge the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers were the clear victors by  an  11-1 margin over the Wildcats on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won 11 games by more than six  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Langston Coggins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted  over her last 11  matchups.
 In other batting news,  Nevaeh Wells was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted  over her last nine  contests. Another player making a difference was  Emersyn Mayes, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Powell  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in four consecutive  games.
Powell's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 20-10. As for Oak Ridge, they dropped their record down to 7-20 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
As of now, neither Powell nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
