The Tomahawk Hatchets suffered their biggest defeat since December 19, 2023 on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 56-23 loss at the hands of Northland Lutheran. Tomahawk was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Northland Lutheran apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Tomahawk has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Northland Lutheran, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.
Tomahawk won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Antigo at 7:15 p.m. on January 30th. Antigo is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Northland Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against White Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. White Lake comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 13 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
