Despite the defeat, Liberty Ranch had strong showings from Derek Nelson, who scored 13 points along with two steals, and Elliott Hawker, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nelson has scored all season.
The victory makes it two in a row for Bradshaw Christian and bumps their season record up to 14-11. As for Liberty Ranch, they dropped their record down to 8-17 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Christian will take on Rosemont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Amahd Ellis and O'neal. As for Liberty Ranch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Galt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Galt has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29.
