Hamilton is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Nuview Bridge a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Hamilton Bobcats will look to defend their home field against the Nuview Bridge Knights at 3:30 p.m. Hamilton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Hamilton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 26 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Temecula Prep on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the Patriots.

Hamilton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joey Alvarez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Hamilton is 2-1 when Alvarez posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-4 otherwise.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nuview Bridge). They blew past Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School 15-6 on Friday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Ethan Rivera and Luca Canales made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Rivera tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Canales tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave Rivera a new career-high in strikeouts (five). At the plate, Rivera scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while Canales scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Tobias Olague was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-4. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Carson Lagor was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Nuview Bridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Nuview Bridge's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hamilton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Nuview Bridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hamilton suffered a grim 17-3 defeat to Nuview Bridge in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
