After two weeks on the road, Sheridan is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Santiam at 7:00 PM. Santiam will need to watch out since Sheridan have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
Sheridan got themselves on the board against Gervais last Thursday, but Gervais never followed suit. Sheridan took the contest and then some with a 62-0 win over Gervais. Among those leading the charge for Sheridan was junior Josh Rogers, who rushed for 156 yards and 3 touchdowns. Rogers has been a consistent playmaker for Sheridan as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Santiam put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They put a hurting on Chemawa Indian to the tune of 74-6. The victory was familiar territory for Santiam, who now have six in a row.
Their wins bumped Sheridan to 5-1 and Santiam to 6-0. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
