Crosspointe Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Coltenn Wagner, who shot 4-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 assists. Wagner is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Will Yeiter was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
MTI School of Knowledge's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
MTI School of Knowledge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 75-41 loss vs. Cambridge City Lincoln on the 10th. Crosspointe Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Legacy Elite Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Legacy Elite Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Tuesday.
