The West Point Dragons were the 46-21 winner over the North Canyon Rattlers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. West Point fell 33-23 to North Canyon on Friday.
Among those leading the charge was Ava Adams, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 steals. Another player making a difference was Tyra Schneider, who scored 5 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals.
West Point's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for North Canyon, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
West Point will head out on the road to face off against Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Canyon is on the road again on Saturday and play against Paradise Honors at 10:20 a.m. on November 25th.
