Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Capital). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the River Ridge Hawks on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Capital with their most commanding win of the season.

Jaden Annan and Tanner Fricke scored all three of Capital's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Capital's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 3-2-2. As for River Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Capital is set to face off against their familiar foe Timberline at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, River Ridge will challenge rival North Thurston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
