After losing to the Miyamura Patriots the last time they met, the Bloomfield Bobcats decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Bloomfield secured a 48-43 W over the Patriots on Saturday.
Andrew Florez was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Slivers, who scored nine points.
Bloomfield's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-12. As for Miyamura, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Kirtland Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully the Bobcats like a good challenge.
