The Wasco Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They snuck past Taft with a 26-21 win. For Wasco, this counts as revenge for the 31-20 loss Taft walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Although Taft took the loss, they still got scores from Dylan Clark, Isaiah Lopez, and Cameron Cash.
Wasco now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Taft, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Wasco will head out on the road to face off against Shafter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shafter will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. As for Taft, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Delano at 7:30 p.m.
