Calabasas may have failed to reach the 38.33-ppg average they boasted coming into the contest against St. Bonaventure on Friday, but the squad still had enough to get the job done. Calabasas had just enough and edged out St. Bonaventure 2-0. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as the Coyotes are ranked places ahead of the Seraphs in the rankings.
The victory (their fifth in a row) raised Calabasas' record to 8-2. St. Bonaventure is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Calabasas will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against St. John Bosco at 7:30 p.m. ET in two weeks. Calabasas will really need to gear up for this challenge, as St. John Bosco will be their toughest opponent yet. As for the Seraphs, they will face off against Oxnard at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. The Seraphs don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
