It was a good run, but Mitchell unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Marauders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Mitchell will head out to challenge Weeki Wachee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, they will challenge Calvary Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
