The Spruce Creek Hawks will take on the Creekside Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spruce Creek will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
On Friday, everything went Spruce Creek's way against Monsignor Pace as Spruce Creek made off with a 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Spruce Creek got a great performance from Garrett Grant as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Grant has posted since back in April of 2024.
At the plate, Peyson Garcia was incredible, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Devon Crown was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Meanwhile, Creekside fell victim to Hagerty and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.
Nicholas Romeu was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Creekside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Bysheim, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Spruce Creek's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.2 runs. As for Creekside, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Creekside's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Spruce Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. It's a different story for Creekside, though, as they've only averaged .208. Will they be able to contain Spruce Creek's hitters?
Spruce Creek beat Creekside 5-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Will Spruce Creek repeat their success, or does Creekside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
