Anaconda's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Travis Dye
Thanks in part to Travis Dye, Anaconda said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Friday Dye rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 90 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up 0.5 sacks and making five total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Anaconda's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Dye and Anaconda are taking a road trip to square off against Loyola-Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lincoln County was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Emmet Mckim did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Mckim was still balling out as he picked up 31 receiving yards.

William Heintz Delivers Best Performance of Season
Lincoln County came up short on Friday despite William Heintz delivering his best game to date. Heintz picked up three sacks and made eight total tackles.
This season, Heintz has averaged 4.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 4 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.67 total tackles per game.

While Thompson Falls might've come up empty on Friday, Bryson Lecoure wasn't going down without a fight. Lecoure was dynamite, throwing for 101 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 61 yards on only eight carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards.
Thompson Falls' defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5. Lecoure will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Florence-Carlton on Friday.

Brody Galle Puts an End to Anaconda's Losing Streak on Friday
Thanks in part to Brody Galle, Anaconda said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Whitehall/Harrison had no answer to Galle on Friday as he picked up 43 receiving yards and a touchdown.
For the year, Galle has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 28.5 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one receiving touchdown.
