The Thompson Tommies waltzed into their match Friday with three straight wins dating back to last season but they left with four. They breezed by Carrington on the road to the tune of 64-35. That's another feather in the cap for Thompson, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Thompson can attribute much of their success to Drew Overby, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Odenbach, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Thompson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carrington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Thompson will head out on the road to face off against Grafton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Carrington will be home for the holidays to greet Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
