Altavista typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Essex proved too difficult a challenge. Everything went their way against the Colonels as they made off with a 30-8 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

Grayson County's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.0 points per game. As for Essex, their record is now 13-1.
