Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sedona Dietrich, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds. The game was Dietrich's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Sierra Gifford was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Nogales, they have fallen quite a ways from their 19-9 record last season and are now at 4-7.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Douglas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. Nogales will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ironwood Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Ironwood Ridge is ranked 68th, while Nogales is ranked 93rd).
