The Taylor Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Clinton Central 75-34 at home. Taylor has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.
Taylor found their leader in underclassman Keyshawn Galloway, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Galloway has scored all season. Christian Hall was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luke Davison, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Cole Davison, who scored seven points.
Clinton Central struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
The win (which was Taylor's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Clinton Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Taylor the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Western at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. Clinton Central on the road again on Saturday and play against Alexandria-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th.
