Florence will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Raymond at 7:00 PM. Florence will be hoping to continue their now four-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
Florence took the game and then some with a 57-14 win last Friday over Richland. Junior Ian Vaughn, who punched in 3 rushing TDs and accumulated 232 passing yards, was a major factor in Florence's success. Vaughn has been a consistent playmaker for Florence as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, Raymond have to be aching after a bruising 0-28 loss to Lanier.
Florence's victory lifted them to 2-5 while Raymond's defeat dropped them down to 0-7. We'll see if Florence's success rolls on or if Raymond are able to steal their positive momentum.
