Volleyball Recap: Paris Gets the Win

Paris won the last time they faced Prairiland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0.

Paris never let Prairiland on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13.

Paris' offense was headlined by Cerenity Liggins and A'Caria Titus, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Riley Nelms and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Paris' victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Prairiland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Paris didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Bells on the 29th. As for Prairiland, they will challenge Queen City at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
