Petrolia can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Olney out 33-30. The win was just what Petrolia needed coming off of a 71-10 loss in their prior matchup.
Archer City suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-30 loss at the hands of Seymour.
Despite the defeat, Archer City had strong showings from Serenity Jones, who scored 13 points along with two steals, and Adelyn Harvey, who scored three points. Jones hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Petrolia's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Archer City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.
Petrolia was able to grind out a solid victory over Archer City in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 56-47. Will Petrolia repeat their success, or does Archer City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
