The Flint Hill Huskies will square off against the Trinity Christian Gryphons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Trinity Christian will be up against a hot Flint Hill squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. The Huskies put the hurt on St. Andrew's Episcopal with a sharp 16-1 victory on Wednesday.

Jackson Speer looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Flint Hill got a massive performance out of Aidan Ryan, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ryan is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of PJ Lyons, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Trinity Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Fredericksburg Christian on Tuesday.
Trinity Christian also got a great performance from Lucas Fisher as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Brody Frank was a standout: he scored four runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Ethan Tiede, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3.
Trinity Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .476. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fredericksburg Christian only posted a batting average of .071.
Flint Hill pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Flint Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475. However, it's not like Trinity Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .460. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
