The Mark Twain Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 56-37 fall against Macon.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aydan Dye, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Dye hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Dotson, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Mark Twain dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Macon, their victory bumped their record up to 1-6.
Mark Twain the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Marion County at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Macon will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hannibal at 7:30 p.m. on February 12th.
