The Brunswick Bulldogs will look to defend their home field  on Friday against the Altavista Colonels at 7:00  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  both teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brunswick walked away with it. They strolled past Buffalo Gap with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  41-26. That's two games straight that Brunswick has won by exactly 15  points.
 Brunswick can attribute much of their success to  Jayden Tucker, who threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in  a touchdown on the ground.
 Meanwhile, Altavista can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  matchup  on Friday. They claimed a resounding  64-16 win over Surry County at home. Altavista's offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 The  win  makes it two in a row for Brunswick and  bumps their season record up to 9-2. As for Altavista, their victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-3.
