Liberty County extended the longest winning streak in 1A District 4 this week by beating Bozeman, 27-18. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Port St. Joe took down Rocky Bayou Christian 42-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Blountstown's Hunter Jordan and Ryan Hathcox have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jordan has thrown for 360 yards this season, while Hathcox, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has five catches for 127 yards. The Sharks' Jarkice Davis leads the league in rushing yards with 670.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Liberty County takes on the Tigers. Grant Grantham's team is in first place, while Blountstown is in third place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Bulldogs take on Greg Jordan's team. Liberty County has allowed 87 points this season, while the Tigers have given up 90. The Bulldogs allowed 18 points last week as they defeated the Bucks.
Port St. Joe led 1A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Knights.
