The Pavilion Golden Gophers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against Caledonia-Mumford by a score of 66-54. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Pavilion has managed all season.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donny Peet, who scored 18 points along with seven assists and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Potter, who scored 16 points.
Pavilion's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8. As for Caledonia-Mumford, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pavilion's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kendall at 12:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will challenge Mount Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
