If the Mansfield Tigers were feeling good off their 60-21 takedown of the George Ranch Longhorns on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mansfield fell just short of Bridgeland by a score of 43-41.
Bridgeland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Meadow Cantualla out in front who scored 15 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Cantualla has scored at least 25% of Bridgeland's points. Another player making a difference was Ibifaa Azogu, who scored 11 points along with 9 rebounds.
Mansfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bridgeland, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Mansfield will head out on the road to face off against Katy Taylor at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Katy Taylor will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Bridgeland is on the road again on Friday and play against George Ranch at 5:30 p.m. on December 1st. George Ranch is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
