Norwayne has won 11 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Dalton has won 11 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bobcats will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Norwayne took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Hillsdale, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats had just enough and edged out the Falcons 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since March 29th.
Abby Workman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Workman was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Dalton came out on top against Chippewa on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fifth inning. The Bulldogs blew past the Chipps 13-5. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Chipps recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Peyton Neiger was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hannah Wenger, who went 4-for-5 with four runs and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Kenna Doty, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Norwayne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Dalton, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Norwayne hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Dalton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
