The Evergreen Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 64-44 defeat at the hands of Highline. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Evergreen of the 79-63 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Highline's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marquawn Mccraney, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Mccraney hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Rashad Carriere, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Evergreen has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Highline, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.
Evergreen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highline also has no future games currently scheduled.
