Ramah and the Warriors are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Ramah Mustangs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Pine Hill Warriors at 8:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ramah fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They snuck past Tse' Yi' Gai with a 54-48 victory on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Pine Hill put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They breezed by To'hajiilee at home to the tune of 72-36. The victory was nothing new for Pine Hill as they're now sitting on five straight.
It was another big night for Brett Baker, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Channing James, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Ramah's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Pine Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.
Ramah might still be hurting after the 69-49 defeat they got from the Warriors in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Ramah avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
