Orofino lost against Grangeville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Orofino Maniacs took a  blow against the Grangeville Bulldogs, falling  52-20. The Maniacs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Grangeville got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Addisyn Vanderwall out in front who  went 5 for 10  on her way to 15 points and seven  rebounds. That's the most  points  Vanderwall has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Caryss Barger, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten points and nine  steals.
Orofino's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Grangeville, they pushed their record up to 10-4 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Orofino will have a little extra prep time after the  defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clearwater Valley at 6:00  p.m.  on January 27th. Grangeville has already played their next game,  a  69-34  win against Priest River on the 18th.
