You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Covenant Christian's strategy against Christian Academy on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Covenant Christian Warriors blew the Christian Academy Warriors out of the water with a 66-33 final score. Covenant Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 27 points or more this season.

Covenant Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vivian Haffner led the charge by going 6 for 12 on her way to 17 points. Abbey Jankowski was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Covenant Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christian Academy only racked up seven assists.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Covenant Christian, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. As for Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Covenant Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-38 loss against North Central on the 4th. As for Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-52 win against Cascade on the 4th.
