Manor New Tech had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They put the hurt on the Travis Rebels with a sharp 17-3 victory. Manor New Tech might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Zane Thomas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has become a key player for Manor New Tech: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ahmad Riley, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
