Nylah Moore was her usual excellent self, going 9 for 21 en route to 40 points and five steals. Her evening made it 28 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Addison Sweet, who posted ten points and six boards.
Meanwhile, Gramercy Christian ended up a good deal behind New Bern Christian Academy on Thursday and lost 57-39. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jacksonville Christian Academy will need focus on slowing down Mariah Diaz, one of several Gramercy Christian players who made an impact when they last played. She put up four points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 boards gave Diaz a new career-high. Addi Cook was another key player, putting up six points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Gramercy Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.
