Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Green). They breezed by the McKinley Bulldogs to the tune of 79-52 on Wednesday. Green has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why McKinley lost, don't look at Mya Taylor. Despite the final result, she posted 24 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 46.2% of McKinley's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of K'Lynn Carter, who earned ten points.

Green pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for McKinley, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green will head out to take on GlenOak at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Green is facing GlenOak at the right time seeing as GlenOak is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for McKinley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Jackson at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
