Simon Kenton extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 6 this week by beating Ryle, 46-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Pioneers.
Simon Kenton took down the Raiders 46-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brenan Kuntz threw for 285 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 55 yards during the win.
Jeff marksberry's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Kuntz contributed 55 yards. Grant Wassom helped Simon Kenton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 72 yards.
He went 17-19 with 0 interception.
Logan Winkler was the best wideout in the league this week as the Pioneers defeated Ryle. Winkler racked up 9 receptions for 140 yards. Wassom helped Simon Kenton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 72 yards.
Simon Kenton's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kuntz has thrown for 1,172 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Wassom has 27 catches for 415 yards. Kuntz also leads the league in rushing with 478 yards.
An important game coming up in 6A District 6 this week will be when Campbell County takes on Simon Kenton. The Camels are in third place, while the Pioneers are in first place.
