The Keene Central Beavers will be home for the holidays to greet the Schroon Lake Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
On Friday, Keene Central came up short against Indian Lake Central and fell 23-15.
Meanwhile, Schroon Lake also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Boquet Valley by a score of 43-34. Schroon Lake has not had much luck with Boquet Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Keene Central now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Schroon Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Keene Central didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Schroon Lake in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 47-43 win.
